With the 92nd Academy Awards coming up on February 9th, we wanted to take a look at some of the female nominees’ beauty and skincare tips. After all, they have to be red carpet ready nearly all the time.
Margot Robbie
Living Barbie, Margot Robbie’s peach-blush skin always looks flawless. The 29-year-old Aussie beauty’s talent matches her looks, as she is constantly winning over audiences and impressing critics. Nominated this year for her role in Bombshell, Ms. Robbie is currently making the awards rounds, and although she says she has acne-prone skin, she always looks fresh and glowing on the red carpet.

Here are her favorite skincare products:
- Johnson’s Makeup Wipes to remove makeup nightly.
- Dr. Lancer The Method “Cleanse” Cleanser daily.
- She gets rid of dead skin with Peter Thomas Roth Complexion Correction Pads.
- She uses Aesop facial mist and Aesop Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol.
- In the morning, she moisturizes with the Bloc Cosmetics Citrus Moisturizer.
- When she wants to really baby her skin, she uses a 111Skin Mask. “I’m obsessed with them,” she says. “They’ve got a jelly texture and they are so easy to use. You just stick one on for ten minutes, and your skin feels so nice afterwards.”
- For the under-eye area, Ms. Robbie uses Talika Eye Therapy Patch.
Greta Gerwig
Greta Gerwig may have gotten snubbed out of a Best Director nomination, but her film Little Women is still nominated for a handful of other Oscars, including Best Picture.

Thirty-six year old Greta is also constantly fresh-faced and glowing. A few of her favorite beauty products include Mario Badescu drying lotion; Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream; Moroccan Oil Original Treatment; Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil, and Dr. Bronner’s Magic All-in-One Soap in lavender.
Saoirse Ronan
Saoirse isn’t only an Oscar nominee for Little Women; she’s also the new face of the Calvin Klein Women fragrance — and you can’t be “the new face” of anything if your skin isn’t absolutely radiant. So what’s Miss Ronan’s secret?

Well, first of all, she’s never been one to clog her pores with makeup. Notoriously bare-faced, the 25-year-old actress prefers to look her most natural. “I feel like my skin can’t breathe [with makeup]!” She says.
Saoirse also uses a cleansing oil from Tatcha, vitamin C serum, Aesop moisturizer, and a little bit of concealer.
Laura Dern
Laura Dern is an American treasure. Oscar-nominated this year for her role in Marriage Story, she continues to dominate onscreen and look gorgeous while doing so. And just how does the stunning 52-year-old Ms. Dern take care of that lovely skin? Here are her skincare tips.
Before applying makeup, she applies Éminence Organics Clear Skin Probiotic Mask. She then adds a few drops of her True Botanicals Renew Pure Radiance Oil into the palms of her hands, rubs them together, and presses it into her face.
To keep her makeup from sinking into her pores, she uses Face Place’s Collagen Moisturizer before using It Cosmetics “Bye Bye Under Eye”.
Scarlett Johansson
People have been raving about two things regarding Scarlett Johansson: her double Oscar Best Actress nominations (Jojo Rabbit and Marriage Story) and her out-of-this-world skin at the Golden Globes.

Miss Johansson’s makeup artist revealed the 35-year-old’s pre-awards skincare regimen. Apparently the Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum (only $8.00!) is the secret for smoothing, hydrating, and plumping her skin.
If you’re looking for one of the best skincare tips and a sure-fire way to boost your skin’s glow from the inside out, a serum containing hyaluronic acid should be on your to-get list.
Cynthia Erivo
We just want to put this out there: if Cynthia Erivo wins an Oscar for her role in Harriet, she will be an EGOT winner! Very impressive. Besides that, the 33-year-old actress has an incredibly fresh, radiant shine.

For her sleek Golden Globes look, she used Armani’s Glow-On cream, a hydrating serum, and Luminous Silk foundation.
Renee Zellweger
One thing is for sure about Renee Zellweger: her skin has always looked absolutely translucent in front of the camera. She may very well take home the Oscar for Best Actress this year for Judy, and we are 100% sure she will look positively glowing at the ceremony.

Renee’s makeup artist, Dana Hamel, says these are the skin care tips for getting Renee ready (did you know about marma points?):
“[I use] Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil mixed with a bit of frankincense oil. I start off gently massaging the marma points on the face — the sites where muscles, veins, ligaments, bones and joints meet. These marma points are like little light bulbs turned on by touch to illuminate the face and relieve stress and tension, which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines.”
Charlize Theron
As usual, Miss Theron looked glorious and youthful on the red carpet at the Golden Globes this year. As a Best Actress nominee for Bombshell, we can’t wait to check out her Oscars red carpet look. It is certain to be incredible. Curious to know her beauty routine?
“When I wake up I just rinse my face and put on sunscreen,” says the 43-year-old megastar. And for the nighttime? “I use serum, eye cream, and a really good moisturizer.”
Her daily sunscreen is La Prairie Cellular Radiance Emulsion SPF 30, and her face cream is Crème de la Mer.
